Each beauty professional must purchase their own course(s) and use their own email address to register for all classes. No exceptions.  If you have questions please contact Excel Continuing Education.

When registering you will be prompted to fill in your professional information first.

You must have video and audio capabilities to take a live Zoom CE class as you must be in view and be attentive for the duration of the live Zoom CE Class. This is a State board of Cosmetology requirement.

All CE Zoom classes will start at

9 am and end @ 4 pm. We will offer 2 fifteen minute breaks and a thirty minute lunch break.

When will hours be posted on LLR/ State Board of Cosmetology website?

After you have taken your online and or Zoom CE course Excel will process your completed course  information.

Next, we will forward your information to The University of South Carolina. USC will process your information and send you a certificate of completion to the address you listed when taking your course.

Next, the university will forward  your information to LLR/State board of Cosmetology. They too will process your information and update their records/site with your updated hours. To check on the progress of your certificate (after Excel has send in your information) please call USC @ 1-803-777-9440. This is standard procedure for all CE providers for both online & in person/Zoom CE classes.

Also, LLR sent out an email to all licensees stating if you do not see your hours on the site you can do a mail in renewal application with the requested fee and to make sure it is postmarked prior to the expiration date of your license. That way you won't be considered late. Hope this helps. If you need anything more please let us know. Thank you for choosing Excel Continuing Education.
